Team

The work is already bigger than one person.

Wekify is founder-led today. That is the honest picture. This page is about the seats the work is already creating — not a roster we pretend to have.

Seats the work is creating

These are not job postings. They are the shapes the work has already taken. One person holds them today. Growth means someone else can take a seat without waiting for a department.

  • Held today

    Language work

Kifuliiru Lab, datasets, teaching materials, and community validation. This work runs now, in parallel with everything else — not as a finished chapter.

  • Held today

    Everyday tools

Peacae tools that keep language work moving. Wenodify helps create conversations and other Kifuliiru content. Peacae PM is AI-agent-native project management for developing the language platforms.

  • Forming

    Community and records

People who keep language, memory, and community knowledge. This seat is not only engineering. It is the work of staying close to the communities the products are for.

  • Next to fill

    Design and language surfaces

How the products feel when they meet a speaker, a teacher, or a small team. The mark, the interfaces, and the care not to flatten a language into generic software.

Ayivugwe Kabemba Mukome

He built Wekify from a life where language, memory, and community were things you keep when you have to leave home — and he is still the first user of the platforms he ships.

Founder & lead developer
From Ibufuliiru. Now in Spokane, Washington.

Ayivugwe was born in the Democratic Republic of Congo and fled the war with his family to Burundi. He grew up in a refugee camp, where community was not an idea — it was how people stayed themselves. That is where he first saw that stories, language, and records disappear unless someone keeps them.

At Ngozi University he started building. A first laptop. A city guide app. The ARCIN project. Later, after personal loss, he made tools for memory — Nikumbuke Weka Kumbukumbu, remember, keep records. The thread was already there: software that helps a community hold on to what matters.

In 2020 he looked for Ibufuliiru online and found almost nothing. That gap became Kifuliiru Lab — dictionaries, writing tools, teaching materials, a place for Bafuliiru to build together. He did not pause that work to build other products. He builds them in parallel, and he is the main user: creating conversations and other Kifuliiru content inside the platforms. Wenodify exists to make that content. Peacae PM exists so the language tools can be developed with AI-agent-native project management.

He founded Wekify LLC in 2025. The name comes from Kuweka — to keep, to preserve, to hold safe. Today he still holds both domains himself, from Spokane — building the platforms and using them as the first user — with a global focus that starts with Kifuliiru and does not end there.

How the team will grow

We will not invent a company of ten to look established. Growth is the work becoming holdable by more than one pair of hands.

  1. 01

    Now

One founder holds both domains. The catalog is already larger than a typical one-person studio, which is why the seats above are visible.

  2. 02

    Next

Collaborators who can take a seat — language, product, or community — without needing a full department first.

  3. 03

    Later

A team that can carry language work when the founder is not in every room. That is the point of growing at all.

If you want a seat

We are not posting jobs yet. We are interested in people who care about language technology and community work, and who can carry a piece of this without waiting to be hired into a title.

We build useful places for important work.

See what we have shipped, or reach out if you are building something similar for your community.
